80. EMAS registration or EN ISO certification of tourist accommodations The EU Ecolabel is considered to be the highest level of eco-certification for the accommodation sector. EMAS (European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) and ISO 14001 (international certified management system) are process-based eco-certification programs that focus mainly on industry. However, accommodations can also be certified with one of these eco-schemes.
