19. Chemical toilet disposal point (CDP)

All the various types of caravans and mobile homes are equipped with mobile toilets. In most cases chemicals are filled in catchment tanks in order to reduce odour and improve sanitary conditions.

The treated sewage must be separated when the campsite is connected to a septic tank.

The campsite needs to avoid any potential spill over of sewage if the campsite is connected to a public sewage system. This could be accomplished by the campsite providing special sinks or special disposal units.
