99. EMAS registration or EN ISO certification of suppliers This criteria focuses on the Environmental Management system standard of suppliers to campsites. The purpose of this criterion is the selecting of manufacturers or service providers who are EMAS or EN ISO 14001 certified. While the participation of environmentally conscious suppliers is important for successful environmental sustainability, the entrepreneur has little influence on the environmental performance of the supplier. However, the campsite can select suppliers who have an Environmental Management system program.
