33. Staff training Training and awareness raising of staff regarding the environmental measures of the accommodation should be carried out on a continuous basis. The main objective of the criteria is to increase the awareness raising and training level of staff in all aspects of environmental sustainability in the operation. An on going training program should be developed for both new and permanent staff. New staff should be trained within the first four weeks of being hired and permanent staff once a year
